Yorx M2411

The M2411 was an "all-in-one" stereo from Yorx, featuring an AM/FM receiver, a cassette deck, and an alarm clock. It measures 20.25 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall. I think it's from the late 1970s, or early 80s at the latest. Unlike most Yorx products, this one was made in Japan. It has a thick metal faceplate just like the top brands did. The tuner and VU meters have a very nice looking backlight. The tuner is flywheel-weighted, and the other knobs are detented, providing a very nice feel. The power amplifier is a Sanyo STK433/435, which was sometimes replaced with a Philips ECG1218. Output is 2x8 watts into 8 ohms, both channels driven. If you wanted more power, you would have needed to step up to the M2600.
